From June 21 to September 6, 2026, Marseille once again highlights its exceptional attractiveness with the return of “L’Été Marseillais”, a major summer event that fully contributes to the city’s quality of life and overall dynamism.
With hundreds of free events spread across the entire city, this festive summer perfectly illustrates the lifestyle sought after by both residents and property buyers: a vibrant, cultural city strongly connected to the sea.
The season kicks off on June 21 with “La Voie est Libre” for the Fête de la Musique, turning the Corniche into a pedestrian-friendly seaside promenade in the evening. All summer long, concerts, open-air cinema, shows, sports, and water activities will animate daily life in Marseille.
A major highlight is the “Scène sur l’Eau”, located at the Vieux-Port from July 3 to August 1, offering free concerts every Friday and Saturday with a high-quality lineup (Julien Clerc, Yelle, Cassius, Folamour, Sébastien Tellier, DJ Kore, and more).
At the end of the summer, the traditional free couscous event will mark the launch of the Kouss·Kouss Festival, another symbol of local cultural heritage.
Finally, parks and gardens remaining open until 9 p.m., along with weekly evening openings of museums, further enhance this unique lifestyle, highly valued in real estate projects in Marseille.
A summer that once again showcases the strong appeal of Marseille’s property market and the richness of its Mediterranean way of life.
